SENATE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1__ to SENATE BILL 318

Amendment sponsored by Senator Cervantes

    1. On page 3, line 24, strike the colon, strike line 25 and on page 4, strike lines 1 through 8 and insert in lieu thereof "any attachment or device inserted or affixed onto any firearm to alter the functioning capabilities of the firearm;".

    2. On page 10, strike lines 18 through 25, strike page 11 and on page 12, strike lines 1 through 24.

    3. Renumber the succeeding sections accordingly.

 

    4. On page 16, line 22, strike "ten thousand dollars ($10,000)" and insert in lieu thereof "thirty thousand dollars ($30,000)".

    5. On page 17, lines 6 and 7, strike "two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000)" and insert in lieu thereof "thirty thousand dollars ($30,000)".

    6. On page 20, line 4, strike "shall" and insert in lieu thereof "may".

    7. On page 20, lines 5 and 6, strike "two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000)" and insert in lieu thereof "thirty thousand dollars ($30,000)".

    8. On page 21, line 14, strike "twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000)" and insert in lieu thereof "thirty thousand dollars ($30,000)".

    9. On page 21, line 14, strike the second comma, strike lines 15 through 18 and strike line 19 up to the period.
